The answer is no. Most non-residents handle it from abroad using our firm. You’ll need to sign documents in front of a notary or at an Israeli consulate and courier them over. With an authenticated power of attorney, your Israeli lawyer can sign the land transfer deed and file all necessary documents on your behalf. Israeli authorities are accustomed to foreign parties in property deals, so as long as the paperwork is notarized correctly and apostilled, physical presence isn’t required.
